If a patch or nameset starts to peel at the edges or comes partially off, it can often be reattached with an iron at home.

How to do it
- Lay the jersey flat on an ironing board or another heat-resistant surface. Make sure the fabric is not folded underneath the patch or nameset – this reduces the risk of the adhesive bonding to the inside of the jersey.
- Position the patch or nameset correctly.
- Place baking paper over the print. Avoid overly wrinkled baking paper, as the pattern can sometimes transfer to the print itself.

- Set the iron to medium heat (approx. 140–160 °C) without steam.
- Press the iron down for 10–15 seconds without moving it back and forth.
- Let the jersey cool completely before checking if the print is secure.
- If there are still loose edges, you can use the tip of the iron and iron gently around the edge with light pressure – still remember the baking paper.

If it doesn't work
If the patch or nameset still comes loose after a few attempts, it is recommended to have it reapplied with a professional heat press at a sports shop or a printing company.
